Photography vs Time
Wind cinema presents a film program consists of three films from Lebanon, Tunisia and Algeria. All the films orge various notions to interrogate the photography, time, human behaviors, and the relationships in between. Rodrige, Sahar and El Kheyer are independent filmmakers making their films using gorilla methodology where they invest their lives within films, with intimate visions toward themselves and the world around them.
Programmer:
Ahmad Alhaj born in Syria 1990, director, producer, distributor, juror, programmer and founder of Wind Cinema, an international studio for film production and distribution, SVOD platform. He writes for several cultural sites and journals in Arab region, at the same time organizing and programming film programs in Turkey, Syria, Canada, Denmark, Netherlands, and France as well as online. Ahmad is studying cinema and theater at UGA in France after studying the finance and law in Syria. He is a programmer of Qisetna film Salon in London and A lead festival programmer at Toronto Arab film festival. And a jury member for 20th Latin film & media art festival in Toronto 2020 and a jury member for 7th Africlap African film festival in Toulouse 2020. He participated in the first edition of the Impact lab in Beirut 2019, hosted by Beirut DC in collaboration with DOC society and supported by FORD foundation and participated in 2nd Documentary convention in Leipzig 2019 hosted by DOXBOX and AFAC. His debut film It's only three nails! Saturn devouring his son have been screened in more than 100 cities worldwide.

Synopsis: A father who came to Beirut with his family to start over. A mother who left her native village for her own reasons. Their paths crossed as the city's fate was about to drastically change.
Rodrigue Hammal was born in Beirut, Lebanon. After finishing his film studies with honors at the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts, he dove straight into the directing pool with diverse projects in web, TV, documentary, corporate films and narrative. With 15 years of experience under his belt, he was able to access different markets and audiences across the Middle East, the GCC, North Africa, Europe and Latin America.
As of 2019, Rodrigue is based in Toronto, Canada.

Synopsis
Didou is 88 years old and has spent his life caring for the memory of his deceased
wife. Her house is decorated with mosaïque and seashells and the walls are lined
with pictures of her. Having become a guide in the Casbah, he evokes his wife with
passion to tourists.
Director Biography
El kheyer Zidani is a director and producer born in 1985 in Algeria. After Obtaining
two diplomas in Audio Visual Communication and in Production Audiovisual and
Cinema, he became the Manager of Cinematography Company 'Z&K
PRODUCTION'. He has already directed and produced several short films as : Ma
Vie, Amezgun Amaziy, Protest Camp, Nice Very Nice, Human and The last station.
Currently working on his first feature documentary: Deadly Business. El kheyer Zidani
has participated in several workshops in directing and Film production in Algeria and
abroad, as well he participated in many international film Festivals sach as the Arab
Film Festival of Rotterdam (2010) and Cinemed Mediterranean Film Festival
Montpellier France October 2018. International Documentary film festival «Aegean
Docs » 2014 and in 2018 he got jury award in same festival . Luxor African film
Festival 2018. He got a jury award for “short competition” and nominated for the final
liste in African Movie Academy Awards.

Director: Sahar El Echi
Sahar El Echi was born in Tunis in 1992, she's a visual artist, filmmaker, and videographer. Graduated from the high institue of fine arts in Tunis with a master degree in graphic design . She's using different mediums and artistic demarche to discover new concepts related to social and political reality with a symbiological and interdisciplinary perspective.
Synopsis
It is through the strange daily routine of a persona enclosed at home that the painful tension of being manifests in its most radical forms. Between staying and leaving, sleeping and waking up, the persona becomes haunted by its own specter as photographs, dates, voices, travel diaries, childhood memories are intertwined and juxtaposed as well as reflective of his own uncertain destiny. She remains indecisive.
